On the recommendation of their private equity funders we advised the strategy team on how to divert away from the pack in the electronic payments sector. Identifying the leadership’s clear ambition we worked on the potential pathways to differentiate from some of the fastest-growing and well-funded rivals.
As a team we produced insights into the market which pointed to a richer future outside of the lucrative original payments business by focusing on how the experience of end customers could be transformed by a different technology approach. Our insights helped us to develop a point of view detailing the payments optimization gap where processing costs remain high and economies of scale elusive as volumes rise.
As part of the project we developed and suggested radical Strike plans for a new product launch and suggested research avenues to create future online content to resonate with prospects and customers.
